He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Herzog and Lillian Herzog (Polston); and his brothers, James "Jim" Herzog and John Herzog. He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Christie Blankenship (Kevin) of Rochester, IL, Curt Herzog (Jayne) of Findlay, IL and Brian Herzog (Kandra) of Beecher City, IL; and his grandchildren, Lindsay Blakley (Justin), Emily Gibbs (Matt), Colton Blankenship (Sara), Olivia Herzog (Max), Derek Herzog, Brittnay Jayne Yoder (Michael) and Walker Herzog (Debbie). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Findlay Christian Church or Findlay Ambulance Service and mailed to Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, 415 North Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.
