He is survived by: his parents, Edwin Theodore and Minnie Devening (Hagen); his wife Helen Devening of Fieldon; his son Ted Devening of Fieldon; his daughter-in-law Cheri Devening of Fieldon; his daughter Crystal Plunkett of Fieldon; his son-in-law Michael Plunkett of Fieldon; his great grandchildren, Tucker Witt, Gunner Devening and Gracie Devening; and also, Marie Jackson of Rockbridge, Katherine Wessel, Oliver Wessel of Rockbridge, Pearl Snyders and Robert Snyders of Batchtown.
