It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald E. Hamilton of Fieldon, Illinois, who passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald E. Hamilton to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hamilton and Mary Hamilton (Lawler); his spouse Rovene Fulton; and his sisters, Betsy Davis and Ruth Anne Cook.

He is survived by: his children, Bob Hamilton (Karen) of Chesterfield, MO, Kevin Hamilton (Mary) of St. John's, FL, Jennie Mersman (Dick) of Bethalto and Julie Dunning (Steve) of Edwardsville; and his sister Marilee Graham (Jim) of St. Louis. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
