He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Schaller and Marjorie Schaller (Porter); his wife Wanda Smiddy; and his nephew Andy Matthews. He is survived by: his sons, Shad Schaller (Pamela) of Ferris and Seth Schaller (Dina) of Ferris; his grandchildren, Joshua, Kristine, Megan, Elizabeth (Carson McKee), Isabel and Olivia Schaller; his great grandchildren, Rylie Baucom and Ellison McKee; his sisters, Mary Moyes of Elvaston and Mavis Meadows of Abingdon; and his niece Lisa Milby of Chillicothe, Illinois..

Memorials may be directed to Shriner's Hospital or Illini West FFA.
