It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrel Hammitt of Fenton, Illinois, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on September 8, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Hammitt and Fern Hammitt (Croxell). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mortz; his daughters, Jennifer Trout of Fenton and Nichole Trout of Fenton; and his siblings, Mike Hammitt (Tammy Davis) and DeAnna McDonough (Thomas). He is also survived by three nieces and a nephew.
