He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Pat" Keegan and Esther Jean Keegan (Bush); and his brothers-in-law, Tom Stoudt, Kent and Lauren Border.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda Border; his children, Misty Slaymaker (Mike), Chad Keegan (Tasha) and Erie; his grandchildren, Emma Jean, Alex Michael Slaymaker, Connor Michael, Kaylee Grace and Callen Patrick Keegan; and his siblings-in-law, Clyde, Beth Kramer, Lynn, Donna Border and Sharon Stoudt.

Memorials may be made to St. Ambrose Church or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
