He is survived by: his former spouse Ginnie Gaustad; his fiancée Barbara Kophamer; his children, Wendy Killinger (Mica) and Justin Thies (Connie) of Caledonia, MN; his grandchildren, Kai Killinger (Madelaine), Russell, Lillian, Kamrin and Corbin Thies; his brother Joel Thies (Chris) of Longmont, CO; his nephews, Nolan and Michael; and his pet Thor.
