He is survived by: his spouse Geeta Jain; his parents, Fred Swanson and Karen Swanson of Trivoli; his siblings, Sherri Swanson of West Peoria and Mike; his sister-in-law Sandy Acharya of Florence, Missouri; his nephews, Dezmend Swanson of Peoria, Roman and Aaron Acharya of Florence, Missouri; and his niece Emily Jain of East Peoria.
He died from COVID-19 on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
