He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Holmstrom and Nettie Holmstrom (Extrom); and his brothers, Charles and Vernon Holmstrom. He is survived by: his wife Myra D. Dietrich; his children, Roger Holmstrom of Farmington, IL, Cynthia Kelley (Tom) of Chillicothe, IL and SuAnn Grant (Dan) of Lenexa, KS; his grandchildren, Amanda Fingland (Brad), Chad Holmstrom (Lyndi), Seth Holmstrom, Erin Murphy (Rob) and Jay Kelley (Amy); his great grandchildren, Clara Fingland, Caitlin, Mackinzie Murphy, Ethan Theis, Brooklyn, Madelyn, Emma and J. T. Kelley; and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Holmstrom and Lois Holmstrom. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
