He is survived by: his wife Joan "Toni" Rankin; his daughter Beth Owens of Ohio; his grandsons, Thomas Owens (Stephanie) and Peter Owens (Jen); his great grandchildren, Henry, Elsie and Anna; and also Richard "Dick" Holmes (Marilyn) of Lake Forest.
