He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Leroy and Myrtle Mae Brainard Batterton; his children, Jay Batterton and Kim Deppert; his grandson Richard Batterton; and his children, David Batterton (Connie), Mapleton, Roger Batterton of Jacksonville, FL, Connie Coley (Tom) of Pekin and Kerry Suprunowski (Jan) of Pekin. He was also cherished by sixteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
