He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Oliver and Eva Mae Bowen (Hohstadt); his wife Patricia B "Pat" Zumsteg; and his siblings, Mary Lou Dalton, Betty Norris, Carl and Vincent Bowen.
He is survived by: his children, Susie Riekena (Dennis), Jim Bowen (Barb) and Patti Reiland (Jim); and his brother Larry Bowen. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, a great-great grandchild on the way and his youngest.
Memorials may be made to the Farmington American Legion Post 140 and Farmington Central Academic Foundation.
