He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Ohaver and Florence Ohaver (Hyett); his brother David; his half-sister Jeanne; and his son Joe.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Johnson; his daughters, Mary Moermond (David) of Des Moines, Iowa and Susan Vlahos (Dino) of Sleepy Hollow, Illinois; his granddaughters, Olivia Vlahos of Nantucket and Taylor Desmond of Crystal River, Florida; his great grandchild Rilee Jo; and his nieces, Kathleen Tangel of Chicago and Jane Ohaver of Peoria.
