He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robert and Nina Hall Pizzo; his wife Helen Crum; and his brother Larry Pizzo. He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Pizzo of St. Petersburg, FL, Gabriel Pizzo of Tampa, FL, Amanda Gaertner (Carl) of Carlinville, IL and Issac Pizzo (Misty) of Litchfield, IL. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and two great grand-children.
