He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Pierson and Gladys Hamilton Pierson; and his wife Johanna "Sugar" Clara Whitby. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Kellington, Brent Pierson (Melody) and Greg Pierson (Sherry); and his siblings, Pat Johnson and Hugh Pierson (Janice). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
