She was predeceased by: her parents, Evan "Tick" Welker and Lola Welker (Miller); and her husband Kenneth VanHouten Sr.. She is survived by: her son Howard VanHouten; her sister Linda Payne; her children, Kenneth VanHouten Jr. (Karen) of Canton, Karen Bishop (Tracy) of Farmington and Francie Baker (Eric) of Pinckneyville; and her daughter-in-law Debbie VanHouten of Farmington. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
