She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Johnson and Barbara Johnson (Martin); and her son Derek Simmons. She is survived by: her daughter Angela Layton (Chris) of Farmington; her close friend Jim Elliott of Farmington; her grandchildren, Michael Grimmett, Karlee Grimmett and Ariana Grimmett; and her brother Danny Johnson of Rockford, IL.. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
