He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Marie Doerr and Louis Lamar Whitworth; his brother Robert (Bob); and his sister-in-law Denise Whitworth. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Rose Jordan; his children, William Whitworth II (Melissa) of Arkdale, Kristin Whitworth (Jonathan Green) of Columbia and Paul Whitworth (Myra) of Wadsworth; and his grandchildren, Devin, Erin, Jordan, Kathleen, Evelyn, Anna, Marilyn, Sarah, Brian and Emmett. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Montgomery County Cancer Association or Montgomery County Pheasants Forever.
