He was predeceased by: his parents, Kevin Johnson and Thelma Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Kathy of Farmersville; and his siblings, Terry Johnson of Guffey, CO, Chuck Johnson (Donna) of Albuquerque, NM, Pat Schmillen of East Peoria, IL and Mary LeGrand (Steve) of Cape Girardeau, MO. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews and 21 great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (305 Nobbie St, Farmersville, IL 62533). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
Memorials may be made in Dave's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
