It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ron Barr of Farmer City, Illinois, born in Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Barr and Hazel Lee Barr. He is survived by: his former wife Rebekah J. Riley; his wife Becky Barr of Farmer City, Illinois; his children, Jonathan Barr (Laura) of Villa Grove, Illinois, Amy Engelman (Mike) of Champaign, Illinois and Christopher Barr (Shelby) of Monticello, Illinois; and his siblings, Donna Spracklen, Nancy Carter (Fred), Ken and Kirk Barr.
Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, a private family memorial service will be held Friday, January 29, 2021, at Trinity Community Fellowship in Farmer City, Illinois, with Pastor Dave Ashby officiating.
