He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Alvis and Etta Maxine Mathena Ashworth; his son John Wesley Ashworth; and his grandson Wesley Robert Weedman. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lou Gibbs Ashworth; his children, Sabrina Walsh (Tim) of Farmer City, Illinois and Vincent T. Ashworth of Geneva, Illinois; and his siblings, David E. Ashworth of Kell, Illinois and Sharon K. Stiger of Farmer City, Illinois.. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
