She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Turpin and Viona Brennan Turpin; her husband Vaughn Birch; her brother Mark Matthew Turpin; and her daughter Kathy Sue Birch.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth A. Birch of Oak Creek, Karen L. Lee of Harrison, Kristie J. Birch of Farmer City, Keith J. Birch (Eileen) of Grants Pass and Kevin W. Birch (Kim) of Westerville; and her siblings, Sue Turpin Hayes (Jack) of Monticello and Max Turpin St (Karen). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
