James Edward Riechman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Edward Riechman of Farina, Illinois, born in Loogootee, Illinois, who passed away on December 12, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Riechman and Hilda Riechman (Engelkenjohn); his wife Betty Lou Riechman (Schneider); and his sister JoAnn Curry. He is survived by: his children, Burl Whitney (Christy) of Monticello, Tracey Harris (Jim) of Edwardsville and Marsha Stierwalt (Mark) of Genevea; his brothers, Glenn Riechmann (Fern) of Green Castle, IN. and Dean Riechmann of Gresham, OR; his grandchildren, Miranda Moeller-Staley (Courtney), Eric Moeller (Jorie), Ashley Kennedy Marcus (Patrick), Mason Stierwalt (Maci) and Alyssa Whitney; and his great grandchildren, Keagan, Charley, Harper Moeller, Henry, Cooper and Hazel Stierwalt.
