We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2023, at the age of 75, Fredia Bell Simmons of Farina, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Depoister and Mary Depoister (Lance); her husband Glen Simmons; and her siblings, Oscar Alvie Depoister, Alvie Oscar Depoister, Patty Sapp and Loretta Lynn Depoister.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Simmons (Stacey), Earnie Simmons (Katie) and Paula Adams (Matt); and her siblings, Ernie Depoister (Kathy) and Barb Hassebrock (Bill). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
