He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Elbert and Ruby Pierson (Stanfield); his wife Janet Marie Blair; his daughter Tammy Lewis; and his siblings, Ruth Pierson, James, Phillip and Russell Eugene Pierson.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Clark (Mark) of Poplar Bluff and Tracy Gould (Neil) of Bible Grove; his grandchildren, Sheila McPeak of Louisville, Ryan Clark (Savannah) of Bolivar, Greg Clark (Ashley) of Marion, Kristen Duke (Cole) of Flora, Beth Haarmann (Jeff), Emily Liggett (Jason) of Louisville and Curtis Gould (Jill) of Louisville; his great grandchildren, Matthew McPeak, Eli, Elise Duke, Ella, Landry, Addy, Gracie, Kensie Clark, Blair Liggett, Clayton and Faith Haarmann; and his siblings, Janice Oliver (Donnie) of Indiana, Nancy Weidner of Louisville, Betty Plemmons (Martin) of Louisville, Margaret Wood of Flora, John Pierson (Linda) of Louisville and Bill Pierson of Georgia.
