He is survived by: his father Jack; his children, Sarah Rye Bliss (Tim) of St, Jesse Rye (Minnie), Fallon and Annie Rye (Sam Overturf) of Fairview Heights, IL; his siblings, Susan Mendenhall (John) of Bloomington, IL and Scott Rye (Dee) of Murfreesboro, TN; and his grandchildren, Astrid, Mirasol, Stoddard Bliss and Lucas Rye.
