She is survived by: her children, Wendy Ervin (Matt Barnes) of Rio Rancho, Holly Ervin of Fairview Heights, IL, Courtney Laytham (Henry) of Fairview Heights, IL and Jerry M. Ervin II of Fairview Heights, IL; her grandchildren, Brandon Kolak, Colin Ervin, Lauren Barnes, Dustin Johnston, Jayson Laytham, Kierstyn Barnes, Aiden Laytham, Haylee Cummins and Samuel Cummins; her brothers, Michael Shields (Pam) of North Dakota and Martin Shields (Michelle) of Yuba City, CA; her sisters-in-law, Karen Shamel (Robert) of Las Vegas, NV, Laurie Ervin of Sacramento, CA and Marianne Melvin (Mike) of Sacramento, CA; and her cousins, Avis Barnes (Tom) of California and Cathy Hibbard (Bob) of California.
