She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Rettinghouse and Dorothy Rettinghouse (McCuen); her husband Harold "Hal" A. Purdy; her brother Kenneth Rettinghouse; her nephew Kirk Rettinghouse; and her friend Art Reno.
She is survived by: her goddaughter Connie Rae Sontheimer (Mike); her stepgrandchildren, Rafe Purdy, Lorachelle Eck (Aaron), Danielle Purdy, Brittany Purdy, Brandon Purdy and Joshua Purdy; her stepgreat-granddaughter Peyton Eck; and her sister-in-law Nancy Rettinghouse.
