Rose P. Morris Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2019, at the age of 98, Rose P. Morris (Fairview Heights, Illinois), born in Cairo, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Royce William Morris; her parents, James T. Grant and Adele A. Grant; her siblings, Mary T. Rozzell and James "Buddy" Grant; and her great grandchild Trinity Morris.

She is survived by: her children, David G. Morris and Linda D. Amos (William) of O'Fallon, IL; her grandchildren, David G. Morris, Jr., Neal A. Morris, Mary Ann Acord of Red Bud, IL, Lt. Colonel John M. Gruenke of Crestview, FL and Matthew R. Amos (Courtney Sutphen) of St. Louis, MO; her great grandchildren, Amanda Acord, Jill Morris, Julie Morris, Claire Amos, Winchester Morris, Aviston Morris, Evander Morris and Solomon Morris; her sisters, Shirley Strong and Sue Kerwin of Carlyle, IL; and her sister-in-law Montez Grant. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
