He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Morris and Ester Morris; his brother Ronald Morris; his wife Patsy Morris; his children, Richard Morris Jr. (Gaby), William Arlin Morris and Margret Hawk; his grandchildren, Robert, Patrick, Andrew, Amy, Willy, Scott, Thomas (Mindy), Mathew and Aeron; and his great grandchildren, Weston, Aoura, Liam, Logan, Russell, Eloise, Keagan, Brielle and Mariah. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Belleville Area.
