He was predeceased by: his brother Andrew Knopik (Helen). He is survived by: his wife Jeannie A. Knopik; his children, Richard Knopik (Ellen) of Glen Carbon, IL, Teresa Randel (Sam) of St. Jacob, IL, Kathy Dodds (Raymond) of Troy, IL and JoEllyn Guthrie (Chris) of Spring Hill, FL; his grandchildren, Julie Baiser (Amy), Jennifer Kicielinski (Mike), Richard Knopik, Laurie Archibee (Aaron), Michael Guthrie, Joseph Guthrie and Kyle Guthrie; his great grandchildren, Addison Baiser, Aurora Archibee and Arie Baiser; his siblings, Walter Knopik (Marcia) of Sarasota, FL and Geraldine O'Hearn (Gene) of Mt. Laurel, N. J; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Groennert, Gail Brady and Jane Borowiak. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
Memorials may be made in the form of masses to St. Augustine of Canterbury Church, Belleville, IL.
