It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Joseph Tribout Sr. of Fairview Heights, Illinois, who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Tribout and Olivia Tribout (Hilpert); his wife Jannith "Jann" J. McCoy; and his daughter Allison Tribout. He is survived by: his children, Michael Tribout (Vicki) of Clayton, DE, Raymond "Sonny" Tribout (Michelle) of Belleville, IL and Jannean Muehlfeld (Art) of Fairview Heights, IL; his grandchildren, Heather McNaughton (Tony), Kris Miller (Annie), Matt Miller (Joanne), Misty Tribout, Joseph Tribout (Danielle), Rachel Hutchinson (Sam), Greg Muehlfeld (Renee), Eric Muehlfeld (Lynda), Marissa Womble (Cody) and Holly Muehlfeld (Tyler Strahl); his great grandchildren, Kenney, Riley McNaughton, Garrett Miller, Connor, Emma Tribout, Asher, Liberty, Eleanor, Owen, Margaret, Lucielle Muehlfeld, Millie Strahl, Remington and Everleigh Womble; and his brother Jerome Tribout (Mary) of Smithton, IL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home (3412 Frank Scott Pkwy W, Belleville, IL 62223). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and the Hospice of Southern Illinois.
