He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia "Ginger" Brummer; his parents, Paul C. Ellen and Mary Ellen; his brother John E. "Jack" Brummer; and his son-in-law Ralph Buono.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Ellen Boyne (John) of Glendale, AZ and Marcia Buono of Edwardsville, IL; his grandson John Boyne (Jeanette) of San Jose, CA; his great grandchild Cara of San Jose, CA; and his sister Rosamond "Mickey" Brummer. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
