She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence C. Havel, Jr.; her parents, Martin J. Rick and Mable; her siblings, Linda Golightly, Dorothy Mueller (Elmer), Frank Rick (Dorothy), Martin Rick (Helen), Lester Rick and Patricia Aldridge (Jim); and her grandson Lawrence M. Havel.
She is survived by: her children, Lawrence D. Havel (Brenda) of New Castle, IN, Paula Toenjes (John) of Fairview Heights, IL and Deanne Havel (Mike Johnson) of Pocahontas, IL; and her grandchildren, Lindsey M. Toenjes of Fairview Heights, IL, Joshua E. Toenjes of Pasadena, CA, Amanda Lance of Highland, IL and Cody Lance of Collinsville, IL.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Elks Lodge 664 (9480 Old Lincoln Trail, Fairview Heights, IL 62208). A funeral Mass will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 7:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (505 Fountains Pkwy, Fairview Heights, IL 62208).
