He is survived by: his wife Loretta Kiefer; his children, Marsha Karwoski (James) of Shiloh, IL, Patty Isbill (Terry) of Fairview Heights, IL, Larry Kern (Melinda) of O'Fallon, IL and Tim Kern of Fairview Heights, IL; his grandchildren, Brendan Karwoski, Danielle McCarthy (Connor), Chris Broadway, Lara Kern and Adam Kern (Emily); his great grandchildren, Patrick, Reagan and Sloane; and his sister Betty Wenkel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
