James Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2021, at the age of 87, James Smith of Fairview Heights, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Smith and Shellie Smith; and his sons-in-law, Robert Schirmer and Mike Glazik. He is survived by: his children, Randy Smith of St. Louis, MO, Carolyn Glazik of Madison, AL, Patricia Schirmer of Fairview Heights, IL and Randall Smith (Michael Schwartz); his grandchildren, Katie Biermann (Mike), Abby Schirmer, Jackie Schirmer, Brandon Glazik (Jenny), Kyle Glazik, Bruce Glazik, Olivia Glazik, Henry Biermann, Albert Biermann and Theodore Biermann; and his sister Linda Harper (Chuck). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Matthew Church or to the Alzheimer's Assoc.
