She was predeceased by: her husband Carl E. "Casey" Wells; and her parents, Edward S. and Evelyn. She is survived by: her children, David Wells (Linda), Tom Wells (Sue), Cheryl Scharf (Stephen) and Susie Lauer (Randy); her grandchildren, Heather Wasson, Tom Wells (Chastity), Kellie Scharf (Andrew Sternau), Michael Wells (Erin), Brittany Gugliotta (Ross), Nathan Lauer (Ann Marie) and Evan Lauer; and her siblings, Donald Buxbaum and Barbara Teter (Jim). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Edgemont Bible Church (5100 N Illinois St, Fairview Heights, IL 62208).
