He was predeceased by: his parents, Meatrice and Ivan; his grandson Vince; his sister Emma Burgess; his parents-in-law, Robert, Ila McMillian, Charlie Parker, Norma, Jack Lintner and Roy Burgess; and his son-in-law Larry Shannahan.
He is survived by: his wife Rose; his children, Vicki Dawkins (Mark), Kristi Franklin (Bruce), Richard Richardson (Tina) and Dusty Richardson (Diane); his sister Darlene Parker; and his grandchildren, Dustin (Eva), Grace, Amanda, Kane (Carlee), Gene Richardson, Adam Franklin (Christina), Bruce Franklin Jr., Erik Shannahan (Katy), Joe Dawkins and Cassie Prichart (Austin). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, St. John UCC, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
