We bid farewell to Glenn G. Edwards Jr. of Fairview Heights, Illinois, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 4, 2024 at the age of 83. Glenn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Gabby Edwards and Troy Edwards; his parents, Glenn and Mary Edwards Sr.; his brother Daniel Edwards; and his brother-in-law Richard Rupp.
He is survived by: his wife Cecilia "Marge" Edwards; his sons, Michael Edwards (Shelly) of St. Louis, MO and Steven Edwards (Rhonda) of Smithboro, IL; his grandchildren, Jessica Henson (Robert) of Mitchell, IN, Shelby Belcher (Bo) of Smithboro, IL, Matthew Edwards (Tony Ellington) of Benld, IL, Christopher Edwards of St. Louis, MO, Hailie Edwards of Smithboro, IL and Caden Edwards of St. Louis, MO; his siblings, Gail Rupp of Hartford, WI, Dr. Keith Edwards (Ginny) of Chico Hills, CA, Tom Edwards (Debbie) of Redgranite, WI and Kimberly Jaye (Steve) of Golconda, IL; and his sister-in-law Diane Edwards of Rochelle, IL. He is also survived by his 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
