He is survived by: his wife Norma Townsend; his children, Lisa Vallandingham (Scott) of Belleville, Steven Townsend (Crystal) of Titusville and Linda Barnish (Jeff) of Maryville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Hannah, Paige, Winston, Mason, Jacob, Tanner and Jack; his brothers, Gerald Townsend (Pat) of Trenton, Robert Townsend of Livingston, Donald Townsend of Wood River and Ronald Townsend (Barb) of Maryland Heights, Missouri; and his sisters-in-law, Geri Jolley (Jim) of Swansea, Ruth Ann Carnaghi (Roger) of Shiloh and Oneta Gerling of Fairview Heights, Illinois. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
