With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Gray (Fairview Heights, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on December 17, 2024 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. William A. Gray and Gladys M Stearns Gray; and his sisters, Patricia Gharst and Carolyn Joyce Kinder. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Gray (Bahrns); his children, John David Gray (Carrie), Julie (Gray) and Davis (Mike); his grandchildren, Chris Gilstrap (Sarah), Cody Gray (Lexi), Kimberly (Gilstrap), Crans (Henry), Clayton Gray (Heather), Katie (Gilstrap), Yendes (Matt), Kendra (Gilstrap), Turnbull (James), Chloe Martin, Olivia Martin and Anne Marie Burligameham; and his sister Jane Nelson (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of Fairview Heights (10401 Lincoln Trail, Fairview Heights, IL 62208). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the Oakwood Cemetery (2216 Broadway St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864).
