He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert and Mildred; his siblings, Lowell and Janice; and his parents-in-law, Donald and Rita Sutphin.
He is survived by: his wife Teri Lynne Sy (Sutphin); and his children, Andrea Parker (Todd) and Ryan Sy (Kathryn). He is also survived by parents who have lost a child.
