He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Sue; his children, Lorie Weissert, Lisa Ahlers (Kent), Vicki Thurman (Jason), Angie Keller (Kris), Bill Weissert (Lauren) and Elizabeth Weissert; his grandchildren, Macy (Charlie), Dustin (Alyssa), Madelyn, Gabriela, Logan, Jenna, Owen, Ethan, Annalise and Petey; his sister Carolyn Wottowa (Ralph); his family, Sue, Bill, Maria (Martin) and Angie; his grandchildren, Tony, BJ (Jordan), Nyssa (Scott), Topher, Kassie (Matt) and Alyssa; his great grandchild Kai-Lyn; and also Ava. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (505 Fountains Pkwy, Fairview Heights, IL 62208).
Memorials may be made to Siteman Cancer Center or Family Hospice.
