He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin L. Elgin and Mary Etta Taylor Elgin; his wife Myrna Jean Spesard; his son-in-law Chip Voorhees; his granddaughter Micah White; and his sister Betty Mayerik.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gail Voorhees of St, Jeannie Riordan (James), Sandra Cox (Mike) and Jody Baird (Chuck) of Farmer City, IL; his grandchildren, Mike Voorhees (Paige), Kristin Zuponeck (George), James Riordan (Kristi), Meghan Gibbons (Andy), Katie Collins (Sean) and Macy Baird (Jacob Walker); and his grandson-in-law Jeffrey White.
