With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maxine Davis of Fairmount, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Maxine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maxine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oliver Neil and Zella Mae Ogg Dalbey; her husband Ronald A. "Slim" Davis; and her children, William Ronald Davis (Terry) of Fairmount, Randall Lee Davis (Tina) of Fairmount, Illinois, Stacey Ann McGee (John) of Troy, Susan Puzey (Alan) of Fairmount, Shari Ellis (Steve) of Fairmount and Stephanie Kay Davis of Urbana, Illinois.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Robison Chapel (103 Douglas St, Catlin, IL 61817). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
