He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Erp and Imogene Erp; his siblings, Mary Turner (Art), John Baird (June) and Jerald Erp (Sharrie); his grandfathers, Newton Baird (Harriet) and Milton Erp (Vina); and his pets, Cheyenne and Bruno.
He is survived by: his former wife Betty Guthrie (Mother); his children, James Leslie Erp of Fairmount and Jenna Kay Erp of Westville; his stepdaughters, Amy Carrington and Mindy Carrington; his grandchildren, Aaron Bell, Jordan Brown, Schuyler Nevels, Paige Erp, Paiton Erp and Sydney Erp; and his siblings, Orval Erp (Doris), Kevin Erp (Linda) and Virginia Darlene High (Cleve). He is also survived by 6 step grandchildren; 10 step great grandchildren.
