He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Jones and Mabel Lopp Jones; his wife Betty Truax; his siblings, Harvey Jones, Mary Marlo and Sylvia Burris; and his brothers-in-law, Chuck Harold, Richard Burris and Bob Marlo.
He is survived by: his sons, William Jones (Sharon) of Oakwood and Joe Jones (Joy) of Morris, Illinois; his siblings, Oakie Jones of Fairmount, Illinois, Dorothy Bolser (Don) of Fairmount, Elizabeth Harold of Fairmount and Barb Kneller (Gary) of Morris, Illinois; his grandchildren, Heather Ray (Jason), Matthew Jones (Amy), Rob Jones (Liz), Andrew Jones (Angie) and Adam Jones (Karissa); and his great grandchildren, Kendall Jones, Parker Jones, Liam Jones, Charlie Ray, Kenzie Jones, Alexa Ray, Grayson Jones, Hensley Jones, Jocelyn Jones, Lainey Jones, Sydney Jones and Lucas Jones.
