He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Jeffers and Olive Jeffers (Dixon); his sons, James David Jeffers and Charles Jeffers; and his sister Donna Harland.
He is survived by: his wife Marolyn Jeffers of Fairmount, IL; his children, Leo Jeffers (Michelle) of Fithian, IL, Patricia Vecellio (Tony) of Danville, IL, Terri Kelling (James) of Butler, PA and Tricia Tutwiler (Jacob) of Fairmount, IL; and his siblings, Danny Jeffers (Sandy) of Fithian, IL and Darlene Pribble of Gessie, IN. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
