It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darold J. Street of Fairmount, Illinois, who passed away on May 12, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Joseph; his grandmother Smiley Street; his wife Zoe Anne Woodard; his children, Todd Street of Fairmount, Illinois and Joy Haussy (Paul) of Fairmount, Illinois; his sister Ida Johnson of Catlin, Illinois; his grandchildren, Ashley Smith (Jay), Brandon Haussy (Morgan), Kali Ford (Nathan), Brittany Bristol (Brian) and Christopher Street (Aubree); his great grandchildren, Alexa Jamison, Maya Smith, Jessa Smith, Maclin Ford and Laikynn Street; and his sister Imogene Holt.

“Zoe Anne, Joy and Todd, My heart is sad as I think of Darold's passing. Your family is in so many of my wonderful childhood memories; you were like family! Darold was always such a kind and fun person. He just made life better. He gave me my first motorcycle ride! I know this is a hard time for you all. “Zoe Ann, Joy & Todd, I was so sorry to learn of Darold's passing. He was much loved and a kind, kind man. I remember some family vacations and we all still reference him when trying to do an efficient job of packing; he was the best for sure. The first time we got to see the Wizard of Oz in color was over at your house and it was so very special. I know God has welcomed a very special person. You are in my prayers...
