We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2021, at the age of 73, Bernard D. Bennett Jr. of Fairmount, Illinois, born in Danville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Bennett and Barbara Alcorn Bennett; his stepfather Charles Tiffin; his sister Carolyn Gourley; and his brother-in-law Bill Higgins.

He is survived by: his children, Troy Bennett (Linda Boyer) of Fairmount, IL, Kirbi Bennett (Kimberly) of Fairmount, IL and Cindy Decker (Doug) of Fairmount, IL; his brother Robert Bennett (Cyndi); his grandchildren, Bryce Bennett, Maci Hiser, Kade Bennett, Kieler Bennett, Myli Hiser and Brant Bennett; and his siblings-in-law, Kelly Wilson (Todd), Mary Lou Todd (Danny), Sherry Bennett, Dona Gissel (Ron), Janet Cronk (Marv) and Jim Higgins.
